ProTracks is the ideal digital multitrack recording and editing system. It is used for the production of commercials, jingles, station IDīs and reports. In the mediatron digital audio environment it is also possible to use other multitrack system like: ProTools, Cuebase, Samplitude, Cool Edit Pro and others.

Depending on the level of built-up, ProTracks offers 2-8 physical and as many virtuell tracks as you need. The display of the audio tracks is either possible in the shape of blocks or waves. Moving blocks and a complete list of editing functions make ProTracks a spontanous and creative tool for the producer and editor.  The operation of the system is fully non-destructive. This means mistakes are without consequences each step can be canceled. The fast catalogue function permits the management of sound effects and own productions. The catalogue tool also supports MOD or CD-ROM access. The network ability also allows to share big sound-pools for many user.

An internal digital mix-unit makes it possible to mix the virtual audio tracks. The settings of the virtual faders can be saved and recalled. The possibility to work in linear (PCM) and compressed audio mode (MPEG) with an flexible import and export function in different sound formats like: WAV, BWF, MPEG 1, MPEG 2, optional MP3 and Real Audio makes ProTracks a professional audio tool for every sound engineer. Serveral powerful effects like equalisation, time streching / compression, pitch shifting, noice reduction and a interface to third party effect plug-ins makes ProTracks as a state-of-the-art digital audio editor.
