For an easy intuitive operating all the mediatron Plug-In Modules are designed in an exclusive 3-D render graphic by a screen designer.All the mediatron Plug-In Modules support drag + drop and work under the operation system Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional from Microsoft. The Plug-In Modules HotControl, CuePlayer, QuickSearch, JukeControl, HookMaker, HotRecord and Remote-Interface can also be used stand-alone and independently from the main-program AirControl NT and AirEdit NT. As sound format linear (WAV), BWF and MPEG Layer I, II, III (MP1, MP2, MP3) are used. |
| 1. HotControl - Hotkey and
short cut playback module HotControl is a playback module which is used in the ordinary broadcasting routine to fire off sound and jingle elements like a cartridge player. HotControl can be started up to eight times simultaneously on a digital audio workstation. 100 Hotkeys are available at one HotControl. With this multiple start-ability each imaginable mix situation can be realized. Different hotkey lists can be stored and called-up at anytime. To cue and adjust sound elements the CuePlayer plug-In can be used in HotControl. There is a specially developed DJ-keyboard available for operating HotControl apart from the mouse. It is also possible to operate HotControl completely independently outside AirControl NT. 2. CuePlayer - Enhanced Cue and prelistening module The CuePlayer plug-in module is designed to pre-listen sound elements and to acurately adjust them on the 100/sec. Operating them is easy and fast via mouse or via a particularly developed DJ-keyboard similar to a professional studio CD-player. The cue-possibilities comprehend all imaginable fade- and cue-parameters. The altered setings can be integrated into the automation system AirControl NT at any time, even during broadcasting. With this functionality a spontaneous intervention into the running On-Air activity is possible. With this tool the end of a music title, already playing On-Air, can be pre-listened. CuePlayer is suitable also for the recording of basic parameters of sound elements which must be stored in the database of the digital broadcasting system. 3. X-FadeEdit - Crossfade and segue editing module The X-FadeEdit Plug-In Module serves for the fast definition of segues between two elements following each other on the program schedule of AirControl NT. The segues are displayed in a graphical form and can be pre-listened. By a simple shifting of the fade and starting points with the mouse an optimum turning of the fades is possible. X-FadeEdit can be started during broadcasting with AirControl NT. For the fully automatic and unmanned operation X-FadeEdit can be used for the production and pre-production of programs with AirEdit NT. 4. VoiceTrack - Real feel voice take recording module VoiceTrack
is a new software Plug-In
Module which is used for the pre-production of voice elements, so-called voice tracks.
Ending and start of two elements following each other on the program schedule of AirControl
NT can be listened as it were live. For adjusting the segues there is are real
hardware fader panel (mediatron DMX-40) available. By an easy operation
of the fades, an optimum adjustment of the fades and levels is possible, and the voice element
is automaticaly recorded. VoiceTrack can be used for the off-air production
while broadcasting in Live Assist mode with AirControl NT at any time. For
the fully automatic and unmanned operation VoiceTrack can be used for
pre-production of program logs with the AirEdit NT program scheduling
system. 5. QuickSearch - Database search and browse module QuickSearch is a powerful database browse module. It serves for the quick locating of sound elements stored in the system. Sound elements can be filed in freely definable categories. The locating of elements can easily be carried-out by opening the corresponding category or by entering a search term. The system is able to administrate some 100.000 elements. By a simple drag + drop the sound element wanted can be chosen and transfered on to other mediatron Plug-In Modules. |
6. JukeControl - Big archive, CD-ROM-Jukebox control module JukeControl
is a Plug-In Module for the administration and control of CD-ROM Jukeboxes. With JukeControl
connected with QuickSearch big sound archives containing more than 100.000
music titels can be built up and the elements can be called-up as quick as lightning by
mouse click. JukeControl can be used in the broadcasting studio together
with AirControl NT e.g. for listeners live music requests. For sound
researches and program-planning JukeControl can also be used with AirEdit
NT. 7. HookMaker - Hook sequence editing module HookMaker is a new Plug-In Module for the quick production of pre-announcement sequences, so-called hook list. By a simple drag + drop it is possible to produce within a few seconds a hock list with various hooks (playback of the refrain of a piece of music) and sound elements in between. The sequence can be pre-listened and with the mediatron Plug-Ins X-FadeEdit and CuePlayer edited and checked against one another. Through AirControl NT the produced hook sequence can be played fully automatic or by the Live Assist manualy from the on air talent. 8. WebShow - Internet and Intranet interface module WebShow
Plug-In Module is a software module to make better use of synergy effects and new
services. WebShow makes it possible to display Web sites fully
automatic on the Internet at the same time as it is transmitted by the automation system AirControl
NT through the radio station. Out of this arise completely new possibilities for
service, advertising, promotion and revenue. 9. RDS - Radio Data interface module RDS is a Plug-In Module to display text-information belonging to the acoustic on the RDS display of a car or RDS radio. Out of this arise completely new possibilities for service, advertising and promotion. 10. Digital Radio (DAB) - Digital Radio control module Digital Radio (DAB) is a new Plug-In Module to present on the display of a Digital Radio (DAB) receiver in addition to the acoustic information such as text, graphics or title and artist of a piece being played at the moment. Out of this arise completely new possibilities for service, advertising and promotion. 11. Remote-Interface - I/O Switching and Remote control interface module Remote-Interface is a highly flexible tool which enables remote controls of any kind. With this Plug-In Module faderstart and On/OFF button start of a control desk can be connected with AirControl NT. Remote-Interface enables also to transmit switches for ex. traffic control, network control, signal lights and so forth. |
