Audio Logging System

Advantages: AirTracker is a mulitchannel (up to 16 stereo or mono channels) long time audio program logging system. The system can be used for recording of multiple audio channels for monitoring, analysis, quality management and documentation of any audio signal.

Easy handling: The listening to the recorded material on a LAN (Local Area Network) is possible from various workplaces via drag and drop function and via Internet/Intranet with standard applications like Windows Media, Winamp-, Real- or any other MP3 players.

Flexible configuration: The recording is done directly onto the harddrive of a PC or on a file server. The sound quality and duration can be set individually for any recording channel. MPEG (MP1, MP2 or MP3) is used as compression algorithm. In good CD sound quality 2.7 GByte is necessary per recording channel per day. In Internet radio qualität 259 MByte will be needed. A 15 GByte harddisk can hold herewith 60 days of program material.
On a 80 GByte harddisk it is possible to store 5 stations with 24 hours / 7 day program for a duration of 60 days. The handling of the storage space runs fully automated.

More service: AirTracker can also be used as a remote listening system or as Radio-On-Demand system for the integration on the radio stations homepage. Listeners can select by date and time already broadcasted material and can stream or download it to their PC or MP3 player.

More security: An intelligent emergency system with silence sensor (level controller) controls the audio signal. In case the signal fails, AirTracker can fully automatically send messages via e-mail and SMS to the maintenance staff. The optional emergency player which is controlled by the silence detector can guarantee trouble-free broadcasting. The emergency player is a small program automation system which can playback a prepared playlist in loop or random mode.

Audio Streaming: By the extension with Windows Media or Real Audio streaming the system can be used to encode the radio program in order to broadcast it live on the Internet.
